MUSIC PROMOTES FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS Music is a Protean art; It Improves Cognitive and non cognitive skills more efficiently than sports. The teaching of music in Primary and secondary schools has attained virtually world wide acceptance now. Since 1999 music is an optional subject in P.M Shri G.S.S.S Nilokheri (Karnal). Music is a scoring subject. Students got 90 to 100% marks in this subject. In P.M. shri G.S.S.S Nilokheri we have a drama, Tabla and vocal Instructor. They are very experienced in their field. The music teacher and Instructor Prepare students for many activities like dancing, singing, playing Instruments and in Theatre also. Here we are having a music Lab with many Instruments like casio, Harmoniam, Tabla, Dholak etc. Our Students Got many prizes on district and state level.Our music team also got prizes at state Level in Rangotsav Programme. Scope in music after 12th Couses like Bachelor of Performing Arts in Music + Diploma in Music, Diploma in TAbla, B•A. in music, so it is possible to earn a sustainable Living from your passion of music.
